Texto para fala (TTS) - Android

Sou novo na plataforma android. Agora estou a trabalhar nisso.Se eu digitar o texto em um TextArea e eu gostaria que ele fosse convertido para a fala quando eu clicar no botão falar.

Alguém me pode ajudar?

Texto para fala é incorporado no Android 1.6+. Aqui está um exemplo simples de como fazê-lo.

TextToSpeech tts = new TextToSpeech(this, this);
tts.setLanguage(Locale.US);
tts.speak("Text to say aloud", TextToSpeech.QUEUE_ADD, null);

Aqui estão as instruções sobre como transferir o código de exemplo do Gestor SDK Android:

  1. Lança o Gestor de SDK Android.

    A. No Windows, faça duplo-click no Gestor SDK.ficheiro exe na raiz do SDK Android Directorio.

    B. No Mac ou Linux, abra um terminal para as ferramentas / diretório no SDK Android, em seguida, execute android sdk.

  2. Expanda a lista de pacotes para a mais recente plataforma Android.

  3. seleccionar e transferir amostras para SDK. Quando a transferência estiver completa, você pode encontrar o código fonte para todas as amostras neste local:

Um exemplo minimalista para testar rapidamente o sistema TTS:

    }

Se não usar mensagens localizadas textToSpeechSystem.setLanguage(..) também é importante, uma vez que os seus utilizadores provavelmente nem todos têm o inglês definido como a sua língua por omissão, por isso a pronúncia das palavras estará errada. Mas para testar TTS em geral este excerto é suficiente
